We visited on Sunday afternoon. It was our first time there and we will definitely be back. We sat outside and watched the tide roll in. I ordered a skinny margarita with a Tajin rim for my beverage; the chicken chile Releno for my meal and My husband ordered the Short Rib chimichanga. Everything was great, hot and fresh with lots of flavor. But his was the best!! Lots of parking and seating. Our server/bartender was very personable and attentive. A manger also checked on us along with other tables around us to make sure everyone was enjoying their meals. 5 tacos from me

We loved this restaurant and had such a wonderful time! Megan our bartender was so fun, friendly and made the best Margaritas. Actually...the best we’ve ever had! Our waiter Doolittle was outstanding! He answered all our questions about the menu, provided excellent service and was so fun to talk to. Wonderful personality! Our dinner was delicious! All four of us enjoyed our meals very much! You will not be disappointed!

Always a great meal at Roca Roja. A little disappointed the Short Rib Tostada off the menu, but the short rib Chili Rolleno might be my new favorite along with the Birria Tacos as they are great as well . Server Ron is the BEST!! Great view if you can sit on the patio overlooking the tidal marsh.

We went to happy hour and sat outside on the front deck...pleasant day! We received excellent service from Raven who was also the bartender. Raven is very personable and attentive. We enjoyed our food which we ordered from the happy hour menu. They give you ample portion sizes. After dinner, we went upstairs and played Music Bingo. Fun!

We took a chance and drove a little ways out of Myrtle Beach proper to come here for Valentine’s Day and we had an amazing dinner! If you’re an octopus fan, it is awesome and a steal of a deal. Very adequately priced for the portion! We’re out of towners from Raleigh and would easily pay at least 20 more for this dish back home! Ashley was a very warm and sweet server! Make the trip it’s a great location on the inlet, beautiful view of the sunset!

I feel like this place may get overlooked, but let me tell you - Fabulous Mexican restaurant! Staff very friendly, and informative about their dishes, and an incredible view if you choose to sit out back (outside the restaurant, their is a covered patio/porch - great view ) Will definitely come back to enjoy their dining space, and dishes!

This spot is beautiful and the food was delicious! We absolutely loved the atmosphere! The service was a little slow, but they were really busy, so it was understandable. The food (even for the kids) was quite a bit spicier that we are used to, but the flavors were AMAZING and the Birria Tacos were the absolute best I’ve ever had.

I don't usually follow suggestions from planes over the beach, but I'm so glad we did this time. The food was OUTSTANDING! Upscale Mexican, great tequila selection, the vibe was great, signs perfect, and the view over the marsh was a nice touch. Yes to the yucca gnocchi, octopus ceviche, and everything else too.
